Try a long leash to train for recall or even to use for hiking! There are plenty of uses for a long leash that are beneficial to dog trainings. 


Long dog leads (long-lines) are used for a variety of purposes. Here are some examples

to practise recalls
to provide you with more control whilst your dog is free-running
for gundog training
with a reactive dog
for BAT set-ups (Behaviour Adjustment Training)
